Silken Strands was established by Rosemary Irving in Gatley, Greater Manchester, in the 1970’s and we bought it in 1995 and moved it up to North Wales. Our son Mark bought Fantasy Fabrics from Susan Ray in 2006, moving it up here from Gt Yarmouth (at one time it was based in Scotland). We are a small, friendly company selling mainly by mail order.
